For residential projects in NSW, LCA Members hold a license for such scope of works, where required by the Office of Fair Trading. |

| Membership of the LCA for Contractors is attained only after rigorous examination of at least three previous projects. The LCA scutinises the competence and quality of physical work and the professionalism, integrity and conduct of the contractor. |

LCA Members are kept up to date with the latest technologies, services and information through Seminars, publications and networking at meetings. |

| The LCA comprises a wealth of knowledgable and experienced professionals who have made themselves available for consultation in the unusual event where mediation may be required between an LCA Member and their client. This effective process is a service offered initially free of charge with a view to prompt and amicable resolution. |

A thorough credit and ASIC check is conducted on all LCA Membership Applicants, ensuring their financial stability upon admittance to the Association. |

|
| In the interests of professionalism, Members annually agree to adhere to the LCA's Code of Ethics. It is believed that this essential element of Membership, serves to secure community trust. |
